Due to the inclement weather, we are cancelling all services and ministries for Sunday, February 7, 2010. We will be meeting together again on Wednesday, February 10 at 7 pm for prayer meeting.

Ideas for Family Worship Service:
1. Sing a hymn or two such as "Jesus Loves Me," "Amazing Grace," "Trust and Obey." (If your young person is taking piano lessons, then perhaps he/she could play the hymn he has been practising as the rest of the family sings).

Faith Baptist Church is currently contributing to the relief of the Haitian earthquake victims via the "The Haiti Relief Fund" operated out of Good News Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, MI.

AUGUST

This year Pastor Mike is continuing his series on the book of Revelation. In these very uncertain times, a good understanding of Biblical prophecy is vital to our understanding of the world in which we live. Join us for this series. The Lord Jesus Christ has already told us "Behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be."(Revelation 22:12) "Even so, come, Lord Jesus." (Revelation 22:20) Will you be ready when He comes?

On Thursday, February 4, a group from our church, led by Pastor Privett, will be embarking on a two-week trip to Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. The trip is scheduled to take them through the wonders of ancient Egypt, the Red Sea, the Sinai region, the ancient city of Petra in Jordan, and the land of Israel, including Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, the Sea of Galilee, Nazareth, the Jordan River, the Dead Sea, Masada, Qumran, En Gedi, and Jerusalem.
